5:50am: Jinx’s alarm goes, hit snooze

5:51am: my alarm goes, hit snooze

6:00am: Jinx’s alarm goes again. Hit snooze

6:01am: my alarm goes. Hit snooze

6:10am: Jinx’s alarm goes. Kick Jinx out of bed. Cuddle the cats that jump oon the bed when he opens the door

6:11am: my alarm goes yet again. ignore it

6:15 – 7:00am: Stumble out of bed. go downstairs. put water and coffee into the machine and hit start. pray it brews quickly. get K2 out of bed. shower while Jinx makes her breakfast and feeds her. find clothes to wear. look for my cell phone.find K2 clothes to wear. Probably be asked where the hell Jinx’s clean socks are. pack K2′s bag for school. look for my cellphone again. Make coffee and make K2 a bottle for the car.  feed the cats. Gather bags and coffee and bottles while Jinx loads K2 into the car. Lock the house. Unlock the house, go back inside and look for my bloody phone again. Lock the house again and get into the car. Look for phone in car as i have lost it again. Finally leave to drop K2 at school.

7:01-7:20am: jinx drives to K2′s school. various road rage and swearing incidents. K2 yells “charge” every time we take off from a traffic light or stop street. Jinx and I discuss what ever is on the radio

7:21am: arrive at K2′s school. run her up and hand over to the teacher. discuss how snotty/naughty/cute/chatty etc K2 is with teacher. make comment about the weather. point out to teacher that there is some other kid’s clothes in K2′s bag. Run down driveway. get into car. light cigarette and down half a cup of coffee. Jinx drives towards my work.

7:40ish am: arrive at my work.  wait outside until boss arrives to let me in

7:50am: go to desk, start computer, open outloook and hope i have no unread items

8:15am: meeting with sales staff.  take minutes.

8:30am: load sales orders

9:30am: realise i have only had one cup of coffee so far. steal some of my bosses filter coffee so i dont have to drink ricoffee.

9:30am – 4:30pm: answer calls. rue the stupidity of the people who call. start a project for the boss. change the project because the boss had a better (read: more work intensive for me) idea. do random paperwork for the other boss. 4:31pm: leave work to fetch K2. Chat with jinx about our day and what’s for supper.

4:55pm: get to school. wait in car while Jinx fetches K2. give K2 her tea. Drive to shop to hunt and gather supper.

5:20pm: get home. put on Ceebeebies for K2. i entertain K2 and hang up washing while Jinx washes last night’s supper dishes. Jinx takes over on K2 duties while i cook supper.

6:15ishpm: supper time. eat in front of the TV. i know. naughty, naughty.

6:45pm: begin negotiations as to who is going to bath K2

6:50pm: go upstairs and run bath water for K2. Jinx brings her upstairs, undresses her and get her into the bath. bath K2, dress K2

7:20pm: k2 has her bottle and Jinx puts her in her cot

7:30pm: lie on couch and watch tv, have a chat before i fall asleep in front of the TV

8 or 9ish pm: go to bed. maybe read a bit of my book before i fall asleep again
